At the time of its incorporation in 1981, the company had evolved to include the importation and distribution of new replacement parts for heavy equipment. Owned and entirely managed by Nigerians from its indigenous competition faced by Caterpillar in Nigeria. It speaks to our credibility that we have maintained our market leadership throughout our company’s history.

The early years 80s and 90s were characterized mainly by growth across product lines. Starting with seals, gaskets, cylinder heads, pumps and crankshafts, the company expanded to include other engine parts, work tools, and electrical parts. Due to the change to a democratic political system in 2002, the Nigerian economy system in 2002, the Nigerian economy experienced unprecedented growth. Accordingly, Vidac responded by planting more branches; thereby, reducing the time between older placement and product delivery.

Over the years, we have built an outstanding reputation for repeat business with our customers as a result of our ability to deliver high quality spare parts and excellent services. Some of our customers include Flour Mills, Apapa Bulk Terminal, Skaff Construction, Lagos State Government, Benue State Government and Stanbic IBTC.
